Jennifer Love Hewitt Hobbled But Happy
Jennifer Love Hewitt walks with her cousin and is all smiles even though she had to walk in a supportive walking boot in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Jennifer, 29, and her cousin dropped by her mom’s place to pick up a plate of home-cooked food, which by the looks of it appeared to be tacos!
After spraining her ankle while shooting the Ghost Whisperer, Jennifer had to be placed in the boot and will probably be out of action for about ten days.
Jennifer said of the accident, “I was chasing after a ghost and the ghost won.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt: Benched Due to Injury
Being a world-famous actress can be dangerous. And during a recent scene on her hit show “The Ghost Whisperer,” Jennifer Love Hewitt sustained an injury to her ankle.
Reportedly, the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” actress will be out of action for 10 days due to her sprained ankle. But she’s a good sport about it all.
When asked how exactly she hurt herself, Jen told press, “I was chasing after a ghost and the ghost won.” And it looks like she’s taking advantage of her time on the injured list to spend more time with family.
Hewitt was spotted, cast-and-all, along with her younger cousin stopping by her mom’s house yesterday to pick up a plate of homemade food. She smiled for the cameras and looked cute in her springy-looking purple dress.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Opens Up About Bikini Pictures
Jennifer Love Hewitt is speaking out about those infamous bathing suit pictures – and she couldn’t be happier.
“The thing I think is great is when those pictures were taken, no matter what, I had just been asked to marry,” says Hewitt, engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall, “so he loves me just the way I am.”
And if she does decide to something about her body, “I will for my health, not for typical reasons,” she told PEOPLE on Sunday at an Oscar viewing party at SBE’s The Abbey in West Hollywood.
“If I do work out more it will be for my health, so I can live a long time and we can have kids and be happy together until we are in our 80s,” Hewitt, 29, said at the event, benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles. “It won’t be because I am worried about how I look.”
Dion Dedicates Song To Love Hewitt And Fiancé
Jennifer Love Hewitt and fiancé Ross Mccall were left red-faced at a recent concert - after Celine Dion dedicated a love song to them.
In her first concert since she wrapped her five-year A New Day residency in Las Vegas in December (07), the singer singled out the newly-engaged couple and thanked them for coming to the show last week before launching into her hit ballad The Power Of Love.
Love Hewitt, 28, met the Scotsman when he made a 2006 guest appearance on her TV show The Ghost Whisperer. The pair became engaged last November (2007) after the Band Of Brothers star proposed while on vacation in Hawaii.
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall: Cute Couple
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall were looking mighty dapper as they enjoyed a post-Valentine’s Day coffee at The Coffee Bean on Friday (February 15).
For the outing, Jennifer wore a loose pair of Levi’s jeans, a white button-down top and carried a large red handbag. Meanwhile, her fiance opted for a classic charcoal suit.
According to paparazzi following the couple, “After coffee, Ross dropped Jennifer off at Calypso on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, where she left carrying many bags.”
The insider adds, “Later, she and a friend went to a Mel’s diner for some renowned “American Meatloaf” and “Turkey Dinner” - never too good for the waistline (or the bum).”
Hayden Panettiere saves the whales (But not Jennifer Love Hewitt)
Hayden Panettiere, my favorite activist midget, spoke for almost two hours about saving sea life at Dupont Circle in Washington D.C. She didn’t use any notes and picketed traffic with other activists, according to the Washington Post:
“I get that rush and feeling of really making a difference rather than just lending my face to something,” she told us. “I’d rather people pay attention to me doing this than shopping at Fred Segal.” No fear of a Fonda-like backlash? “We’re saving magnificent animals. I don’t think anyone objects to that. I don’t trust people who don’t love animals.”
That reminds me, I saw Hayden’s boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia shoot a whale with a machine gun the other day. Yeah, seriously. Then he ate some non-dolphin-safe tuna and, uh, kicked a crab. Right in the claw. True story. As for me, I freaking love animals. Just yesterday I rescued a unicorn from the pound then rode down the beach helping baby seals find their mothers. Afterwards, to demonstrate my love of the sea, I made out with a mermaid. Or a manatee with a wig. Either way, I’ll never go back to land-dwelling women.
